Main objectives for eznosis; make ICD-10 easier to be adopted by healthcare provider, record is captured earlier while patient is attending by the physicians (doctor), avoid mistake in capturing information by directly key-in by physicians and easier to navigate between codes (ICD10). Write-up about the team : Ridzuan, Errazudin and Radde are currently pursuing Masters Degree in Computer Science at UiTM Shah Alam. Being given the opportunity to represent our University in this regional challenge really do us (and our Mom) proud. The main idea came out from our group leader, Ridzuan. From there, we, with the help of our mentor, improvised the core idea to become more market driven Web 2.0 application in the healthcare industry as what JavaJive 2008 objective is all about. Not only that, the knowledge of developing web 2.0 based application with the current available technology from Sun really opened our eyes. We hope to share the know-how with all the participants. It allows vital emergency records such as name, date of birth, blood group etc to be stored on an electronic chip which can be read from by any medical personnel. It benefits emergency and non-emergency cases, speeds patient case response. Write-up about the team : Yam is from Malaysia, Foster comes from Ghana and Agif from Indonesia. The team members all study Software Engineering, UK degree Programme at INTI International University College, Nilai. The team came together to compete because the individual members love the thrill of a challenge. Each member has different interests and skills which when combined fulfils the requirements of the competition. Foster enjoys weight lifting and football; Agif runs marathons and plays computer games; while Yam loves a healthy chess game. We have decided to join the competition, primarily because of strong interest in programming and also deep passion in developing world class application. This application also helps to facilitate doctors and paramedics with relevant information in providing timely and quality services for patients. We represent the Management and Science University, Malaysia and currently we are pursuing our degree in Computer Science. Unanimous were formed because of our specialization in Software Engineering and we share a common interest in Java, NetBeans and Web 2.0. Not only do the doctors have access to the patient's medical history, they will also be aware of drugs that have been administered by other doctors. Write-up about the team : Edrea, Maziz and Nadim are second-year technology program undergraduates in Universiti Teknologi Petronas, Tronoh, Malaysia. It is a co-incident that they are from different parts of Malaysia:- Edrea from Sarawak; Maziz from Johor; and Nadim from Perak. Despite having different hometowns, they share one common interest:- object-oriented programming. Their talents and interests are identified by the university, and hence chosen to participate in the JavaJive Regional Challenge 2008. It is a good ground to benchmark their programming skills at the national level, and hopefully at the regional level as well. It will include all important central functionalities that can help others to access important data without any effort to develop those functionalities. This web services will help most of the companies working in the field of developing a health care system. This application will help to preserved and control the access data from the Ministry of Health. Write-up about the team : Assc. Prof. Dr. Suhaidi Hassan, is currently holding the post of Assistant Vice Canselor of College of Arts and Sciences, Universiti Utara Malaysia. Dr. Haslina and Mr. Mohamad Amir are IT Lecturer from the same college. Mohammed, which from Palestine is one of Master Science (IT) at this college. The idea of the system came up from Mohammed when our college been invited by Sun to join this challenge.
